The UHD AITP student organization has been working on a set of events to enrich your MIS experiences and to provide for networking opportunities for its members.  As the various events are finalized, the News and Events web page will be updated and announcements will be distributed.  Please join us at these events.

In addition to UHD AITP events, there will be a series of Houston AITP events that provide members great opportunities to learn about timely IT topics via speakers’ series, panel presentations, Webinar, tours of IT facilities, and more.  In addition, members enjoy the monthly networking events held at local restaurants.  Please keep in mind that registration, appetizers, dinners/lunches, and drinks at these events are free for student members.  To join AITP, visit the AITP web site, scroll down, and click on Join Now, and join as a student.

The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is THE premier networking community for IT professionals worldwide. Nationally, AITP has over 60 professional chapters in over 35 states with four chapters located in Texas. AITP-UHD is astudent chapter sponsored by the AITP-Houston professional chapter. As electronic networks are important to an information system’s success, human networks are important to IT professional’s career. AITP connects professionals together.
